Hull City veteran striker Dean Windass has revealed he's already receiving offers from Championship clubs after being left out of last week's win over Fulham.

In his column for the Daily Mail, Windass wrote: " I understand why the gaffer went for the pace of Marlon King last weekend but he knows I desperately wanted to play a part.

"Last season, our relationship was built on my understanding I wouldn't play every game. I've just had to hide my disappointment.

"I've had a couple of texts from Championship managers who know I just want to play, seeing if I'm planning to stick around, but they've been disappointed."
