Hull City veteran Dean Windass insists he's kissed and made up with teammate Marlon King.

The Mirror says Windass is alleged to have been headbutted by King during a drinking session in a Scarborough casino last week.

The warring pair had to be pulled apart by shocked team-mates and both have been fined two weeks' wages and hauled into manager Phil Brown's office for a dressing down.

King lined-up against Manchester City at the KC Stadium on Sunday, but Windass was once again left out of Brown's squad altogether.

Veteran striker Windass, 39, said: "Marlon and I both had a chance to put our side of the story in the manager's office.

"We have shaken hands and we move on. As team bonding sessions go, it might not look very productive, but people in football know we might be stronger for it."
