Hull's stroppy Geovanni facing £50,000 fine

Hull City midfielder Geovanni is facing a £50,000 fine for his strop against Blackburn Rovers on the weekend.

The Sun says the sulky Samba star angrily eyeballed Phil Brown on Sunday after the Tigers boss replaced him with midfielder Nick Barmby, 35.

Brown blasted: "He still has a role to play here - but he will never do that to me again because I am the manager and he is not bigger than this football club."

Brazilian ace Geovanni, on £25,000 a week after his free transfer from Manchester City last summer, is also likely to be axed for tomorrow's clash at Fulham.
