Hull City defender Nathan Doyle is determined to fight for a place in Phil Brown's Premiership team.
"Obviously towards the end of last season I was part of the first team and it was a great feeling" he told the Hull Daily Mail.
"Finding myself back in the reserves hasn't been that bad because the players brought in are quality players so you don't mind being second or playing in the reserves behind people who have already played in the Premier League for many years.
"You have got to get your head down.
"They bring their experience and the new players, along with the likes of Nick Barmby, are helping the young lads out and helping myself out, and it is good to learn from them."
