Hull City midfielder Bryan Hughes is chasing a permanent deal at Derby County.

Hughes wasn't even given a squad number at Hull and knows he has no future at the KC.

He said: "I've not been getting games at Hull City so this is a chance to put some frustration behind me. It's very frustrating, as a professional you work hard all week and I've not even been involved. I've trained on my own on a Saturday morning

"My contract runs out at Hull at the end of the season and hopefully this will give me a chance to earn myself a contract here. Hopefully I can show Derby I deserve to stay here for a few years.

"I've not been given the chance to show anything at Hull this season so I want to show people what I can do."
