Hull City are ready to try again for Birmingham City defender Curtis Davies.

The Hull Daily Mail says a bid from the Tigers, believed to have matched that made by Norwich in January at £2m, was knocked back, but City will return to the table.

A swap involving Jack Hobbs has been mooted for Hull.
