Hull City winger Ahmed Elmohamady has described Middlesbrough's caretaker manager Steve Agnew as a 'fantastic coach'.
Agnew, who worked as Steve Bruce's assistant at Hull before joining Boro in 2014, is the man in charge at the Riverside Stadium following the sacking of Aitor Karanka and Elmohamady feels he will do a great job on Teesside.
He said: "I think Aggers is one of the best coaches I have worked with through all my career.
"He was fantastic here and had the chance to go back to Middlesbrough and deserves the chance.
"He's a fantastic man and a fantastic coach, but hopefully on Wednesday we can beat him because we need the three points."
The Tigers will host the Boro in a crucial relegation six-pointer at KCOM Stadium on Wednesday.
