Hull City winger Robbie Brady feels that Republic of Ireland's 0-0 draw against England was well deserved.
Although the 0-0 draw between the Irish and England in Dublin was not a visual spectacle by any stretch of the imagination, the result could be construed as a good one for the home side.
Many have not been left impressed by either team's performance but Brady believes that his side deserves credit for earning a decent result against England.
"I thought we did alright and put in a decent performance," said brady.
"Nil-nil was probably a fair enough result but we'd a couple of chances so a bit disappointed we didn't get the win. It was a good workout and hopefully it will put is in good stead for next week."
Martin O'Neill's Ireland side will now meet Scotland at the Aviva Stadium in Euro2016 qualifying on Saturday.
