Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill has revealed that Hull City winger Robbie Brady is in contention to win a recall to the national side.
?Brady had been out of action for over a month after suffering a torn calf muscle. After missing three matches due to the problem, Brady made a return to pitch as an 80th minute substitute in Hull's 3-2 defeat at the hands of Chelsea on Sunday.
?Brady has since joined up with the Republic of Ireland national team ahead of their crucial European qualifier against Poland and while the 23-year old's involvement in the squad is still in doubt, O'Neill has dropped a huge hint that the Tigers star may feature.
?O'Neill said: "Robbie did some work and while it wasn't long it was pretty intense. For someone who's had a calf problem, he did fine. He feels fine at the moment.
?"In terms of match fitness and the football he's played in the last three or four weeks, that might present a problem. But overall he's a pretty fit lad."?
