Hull City winger Robbie Brady has welcomed the impact of new assistant manager Mike Phelan.
Brady, who was coached by Phelan during his time at Manchester United, is not surprised.
He told the Hull Daily Mail: "It's been good with Mike coming in.
"He's got some great ideas and it's always good to see that, especially with the background that he has had. I worked with him at Manchester United, first at a younger age and then before I left I had a bit more to do with him.
"He's a good all-round coach. His background speaks for itself with the players he's been with in the past.
"I'm happy he's here and I'm looking forward to performing for him and everyone else here at Hull.
"I want to do as well as any of the lads and I'll be putting in 100 per cent between now and the end of the season."
