Hull City and West Bromwich Albion are battling for Sunderland midfielder Jack Colback.
The Daily Star says former Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has been keeping a close eye on Colback's situation and would love to take him to the KC Stadium.
But West Brom are also admirers and have asked to be kept informed.
