Hull City are moving for Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley.
The Times says the Tigers have bid in excess of £8m for the 25-year-old.
United are said to be happy to listen to offers for Cleverley, who has just 12 months left on his contract.
He started Sunday's 1-1 draw against Sunderland at the Stadium of light but struggled to make an impression on Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal.
Hull face competition from Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert, who has convinced his owner Randy Lerner to release funds for Cleverley.
