Hull City are chasing off contract Blackpool winger Thomas Ince.
The Hull Daily Mail says the 22-year-old has played a patient hand this summer as the final days of his contract with Blackpool tick down, turning down the chance to sign for Italian giants Inter Milan.
Hull are among that group and although the swell of interest in Ince initially made the deal appear unlikely, the Tigers now believe they are well positioned and able to offer a competitive package.
City boss Steve Bruce remains close friends with Ince's father Paul, a former Manchester United team-mate, and was pictured in Portugal with the pair at the start of this month.
