Marvin Johnson has handed in a transfer request to Oxford United, according to Sky Sports.
The League One club has rejected a bid of £1m, believed to be from Hull City, for the 26-year old.
However, U's manager Pep Clotet has reiterated the club's stance that Johnson is unavailable.
Clotet recently praised Johnson's performance in Oxford's 3-0 win over Portsmouth on Saturday.
"I'm very happy with his performance, his attitude and his commitment. He worked hard for his teammates and it was a tough game for him in the first half," said Clotet.
"When the game opened up in the second half he gave a glimpse of what he can do and he was fantastic going forward as well."
