Hull City are turning to Everton striker Nikica Jelavic.

The Daily Mail says Hull manager Steve Bruce has joined the race for Everton striker Jelavic after growing frustrated in his pursuit of West Bromwich Albion forward Shane Long and Sunderland's Steven Fletcher.

Jelavic is wanted by Crystal Palace and West Ham United also with Sam Allardyce's side the player's preference while QPR, who made an initial £3.5million offer, are now out of the running.

West Ham though are reluctant to pay the £4.5million asking price as they continue to look for loans.
