Hull suffer Eintracht Braunschweig defeat

Hull City's pre-season trip to Germany ended in disappointing fashion as they were beaten 2-0 by Eintracht Braunschweig.

Steve Bruce made six changes to the side that started Saturday's 1-0 win at Dynamo Dresden, but there was little to excite the Goslar's S-Arena crowd in a goalless first half with few chances at either end.

The deadlock was eventually broken eight minutes into the second period when Mirko Boland's half-volley across goal was tapped home by Orhan Ademi.

Danny Graham had a chance to equalise but saw his shot saved, before Gianluca Korte headed in Benjamin Kessel's cross five minutes from time to double Braunschweig's lead.
