Hull City striker Aaron Mclean is pleased with his loan move to Birmingham City.
The out-of-favour Tigers striker has found first team chances hard to come by this season.
"I'd spoken to Hull and they were happy to let me go away for a month, so it was an easy decision to make," he said. "The actual move came about pretty quickly but it's something we'd been looking at for a little while. I haven't really featured that much in the first-team at Hull.
"I'm not expecting to come here and walk straight into the team. I'm going to have to work hard in training and hopefully when I get the opportunity I can go out there and show the lads and the fans what I'm about."
