Hull striker McLean attracting Barnsley, Blackpool interest

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has confirmed that both Barnsley and Blackpool are keen on Aaron McLean.

The 30-year old striker had emerged on the radar of Sheffield Wednesday but Bruce has suggested that the Tykes and Seasiders are the only clubs who have enquired.

Bruce also suggested that winger Cameron Stewart could be on the way out the KC Stadium exit door this summer.

"I haven't heard anything personally from (Sheffield Wednesday manager) Dave Jones," Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail.

"But there's been interest from Barnsley and Blackpool for Aaron. If we get the right offer, he can go.

"Cameron is in the same boat. They both want to play regular football and they need to find new homes. We've had one or two little enquiries for Cameron but nothing concrete so far."
