Hull City striker Shane Long is enjoying his new partnership with Nikica Jelavic.
Long and Jelavic were brought together in January by Tigers boss Steve Bruce.
"After the first game people were saying Jelavic and I seemed to really click. In training we didn't play in the same team once - it was young versus old and he's obviously a little bit older than me.
"But it just kind of clicked on the pitch. We didn't really have to work it. I'm enjoying playing up front with him. He's a handful, and a big lad, but he works his socks off as well. He runs around the pitch and he shares the load with me. He's enjoyable to play with.
"Now Jella's on three and I've got two. Hull were keeping clean sheets but not getting goals. All of a sudden they get six against Fulham and then they are on a dry spell again.
"So that pressure was on us when we came in to produce some goals and make that impact. They have put faith in us to do that and hopefully we can return it."
