Hull striker King arrested over alleged assault

Marlon King has been arrested after being accused of assaulting a woman in a bar. The Hull forward, who is on loan from Wigan, was arrested on Wednesday when he voluntarily attended a police station after the alleged incident in central London on Sunday.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed officers from Westminster CID were investigating an allegation of assault on a 20-year-old woman at the Soho Revue Bar in Brewer Street.

He said: "A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. He has been bailed to return on a date in February.''

A spokesman for Hull City refused to comment.
