Hull City striker George Boyd is thrilled to have won Premier League promotion.

Boyd only arrived at Hull on loan after a January move from Peterborough to Nottingham Forest collapsed when he failed an eye test.

Boyd, who has already agreed a two-year contract to make his move permanent, said: "I find it hard to believe just what has happened to me.

"Six years ago I was in the Conference and now I am looking forward to playing Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal.

"What an amazing journey it has been and I can't wait for next season."
