Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone has raised £15,000 in a matter of days for charity.
Huddlestone has raised more than £15,000 for charity in two days after ending a goal drought lasting two and a half years. And an eBay auction of a chunk of his hair chopped off after he scored against Fulham has already seen bids in excess of £1,400.
Huddlestone had pledged to grow his hair until he scored again, after his last goal in April 2011, to raise money for Cancer Research UK. He has now raised more than £27,000, more than twice the total before he found the net during the Tigers' 6-0 victory on Saturday.
#HuddzHairWatch Bidding has reached £1,200! All money raised will go to @Huddz8's http://t.co/QEHfcY6toF charity http://t.co/gWYbPFEOnB#UTT
