Hull City midfielder Geovanni is determined to get one over former club Manchester City today.
Geovanni, who struggled with injuries at Eastlands, said: "I was a bit surprised there was no new contract offered to me by City. When I played, I felt it went well for me there.
"I wanted to extend my stay but nobody from the club contacted me. It's very difficult to talk about it. I had a good relationship with the fans.
"They liked me and I liked them - they made me feel so welcome.
"But now I am at Hull, I will try to do my best here and that's all I am thinking about now."
