Hull City will open talks with Tottenham this week over a permanent deal for Jake Livermore.
The Hull Daily Mail says Livermore's name tops City's shopping list after an excellent season-long loan at the KC Stadium and the Tigers are keen to act quickly to ensure the midfielder gets his wish to remain in East Yorkshire.
How straightforward the proposed deal proves to be will depend entirely on Spurs' valuation.
City value the Londoner between the £4m and £5m mark, Spurs have optimistically quoted twice that figure.
