Hull City captain Nicky Barmby reckons Jimmy Bullard is good enough to break back into the England squad.

Bullard, 31, is back in action after nine months out with a career-threatening knee injury.

And ex-England winger Barmby, 35, said: "If Jimmy were to cap his comeback by earning an England call-up, it would be a fantastic achievement.

"Fabio Capello already knows all about him but he would be more than welcome to come up to Humberside and take another look."
