Hull City signing Bernard Mendy is confident of upsetting Manchester United this season.

"I talked to my friends in France about signing for Hull and one friend said 'Where is Hull?'" said Mendy. "I spoke to Patrice Evra at Manchester United and he said 'Hull? Where is Hull?'

"I said that Hull is very nice and a good city and only one hour away from Manchester.

"I have spoken with him (Evra) and I have told him that Hull will win one zero (against Manchester United)."
