Hull City loan signing Jozy Altidore is excited about a new challenge in the English Premier League.

The 19-year old US international joined the Tigers on a one-year loan from Spanish outfit Villarreal this week and can't wait to test his wares against the world's best.

"It's going to be a great experience for me," he told Sky Sports News.

"I'm very excited at the opportunity to play for a good up-and-coming club in one of the best leagues in the world.

"A lot of people tell me you see it and you think you can jump right in it, but it takes a little bit of getting used to. That's probably the biggest challenge for me, trying to get acclimatised as soon as possible with my team-mates and the Premier League as a whole, as there's not a lot of time until the first match."
