Hull City boss Steve Bruce will push to sign permanently on-loan Tottenham midfielder Jake Livermore next month.
Bruce needs to do the deal as he seeks to bring in Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell on-loan.
Bruce will have to change the status of one of his current loan players to land him.
Hull have already borrowed Jake Livermore from Tottenham and Danny Graham from Sunderland, and clubs are only allowed two loanees at a time from other Premier League sides.
