Hull City have identified former Everton manager Roberto Martinez as a possible replacement for Steve Bruce, according to the Daily Express.
The Tigers are actively looking for a new manager after Bruce quit his job last Friday following a disagreement with vice-chairman Ehab Allam over the club's transfer policy.
Hull have put assistant manager Mike Phelan in temporary charge of the club as they continue to search for Bruce's replacement.
Martinez is available following his exit from Everton late last season and it is understood that the promoted Humberside have sought talks with the Spaniard regarding the vacancy which has been created less than a month from the start of the new Premier League season.
