Hull City have shelled out huge money in agents' fees since their Premiership promotion.
The Daily Mail says the Tigers are believed to have spent £5.5m in agents' fees over the last two seasons.
The figure would amount to approximately 20 per cent of the total transfer fees paid in the period Paul Duffen was club chairman.
That sum is thought to include around £500,000 to The Stellar Group, as a result of the £5m deal which saw Jimmy Bullard sign for the Tigers from Fulham in January.
Duffen resigned as chairman of the Tigers last week, to be replaced by Adam Pearson.
One of Pearson's first tasks is to put the club's finances back on track.
