Premier League returnees Hull City are believed to be targeting Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes.
Tigers boss Steve Bruce will reportedly go after the 23-year old Scotland international after missing out on Celtic's Gary Hooper.
Bruce is determined to strengthen his strike force for the Premier League season ahead and feels that Rhodes' scoring abilities will be useful in England's top flight.
Rhodes netted 27 goals from 48 appearances in all competitions for Rovers last season following his move from Huddersfield Town last summer.
