Hull City boss Steve Bruce aims to snap up Wigan Athletic fullback Maynor Figueroa.

The Daily Mail says free agent defender Figueroa is signing for Hull on a three-year deal.

The former Wigan star, 30, underwent a medical on Thursday night and will link up with manager Bruce for a second time.

It was Bruce who took the Honduran international to the DW Stadium in 2008 when he was in charge at Wigan.
