Hull City have sent striker Nick Proschwitz to Barnsley for the remainder of the season.

The 27-year old German has headed to Oakwell in a bid to help the Tykes off the bottom of the Championship table after struggling for game time at the KC Stadium.

Proschwitz, who joined the Tigers from SC Paderborn in 2012, has made 37 appearances in all competitions for Hull, scoring seven goals.
