Hull seek stronger Man Utd links after Campbell success

After signing Manchester United striker Fraizer Campbell on-loan, Hull City boss Phil Brown wants to establish a relationship with the Premiership giants.

"Our connection with United is now key and we have to conduct ourselves in the right manner because there may be possibilities of others in the future," said Brown.

"We have to make sure that this first one is the right one. Hopefully Fraizer will be telling people that we do right by the players and we play the right type of football.

"Myself, Brian Horton and Steve Parkin advocate getting the ball down and playing to a Hull City shirt. An awful lot of championship clubs don't do that.

"Sir Alex and his coaching staff need to know we are doing the right thing by the player and playing in a style that is right for United as well.

"We want the situation to be a win-win one for everybody concerned."
