Hull City are eyeing Sunderland striker Connor Wickham.

The Journal says new Hull boss Steve Bruce hopes to take the striker on a six-month loan.

It was Bruce who signed Wickham from Ipswich Town a year ago in a deal that cost the Black Cats an initial fee of £8million, a figure that could rise to £12million following a certain amount of first-team appearances.
