Hull City's Stephen Quinn is determined to win a place in Republic of Ireland's starting XI this weekend.
?The Tigers midfielder, 28, has started two of his side's Euro2016 qualifiers for Martin O'Neill and is back in the reckoning for Sunday's home meeting with Group D leaders Poland at the Aviva Stadium.
?"The manager will decide, but I'm here and I'm training hard. I am ready and waiting," said Quinn.
"You go through stages as a footballer when you are in and you are out of the team, but it's how you deal with it mentally.
"I am feeling good and feel like I am in good form.
"I've not played as much as I would like, but I'm feeling confident and I'm ready to go.
"As a boy growing up on the streets of Dublin, it's where everybody wants to be.
?"Sometimes you pinch yourself, but being out on that pitch and playing for your country, you can't beat it."
