Championship Wigan have extended the loan spell of Hull City defender Harry Maguire until the end of the season. The 22 year old former Sheffield United centre-back moved to the Tigers last summer, but has only made six appearances for them.

"I need to thank Hull manager Steve Bruce who has allowed Harry to stay with us," Wigan boss Malky Mackay told the club website. "We both agree that the best thing for his development is to get minutes under his belt and he has certainly been a powerful presence for us."
