Hull midfielder Kevin Kilbane has joined League One Huddersfield on loan for the rest of the season. Terriers boss Lee Clark is looking forward to having the 33-year-old Republic of Ireland international in his squad.
"Everyone knows about Kevin's quality as he has a wealth of experience of playing at the highest level of football and we're delighted to bring him into the club," Clark told the club's official website.
"Obviously we have a void to fill with the injury to Damien Johnson and Kevin has gained over a quarter of his international caps playing in central midfield.
"He has also played there for every one of his clubs, so although he is better known as a left-sided midfielder or defender he is such a good footballer and athlete that he performs that role extremely well."
