Hull City are ready to pay off sacked manager Phil Brown.
The Sun says Brown, who left in March, will meet with Tigers chiefs to thrash out a pay-off - possibly around half of his £1.4million-a-year wages.
Chairman Adam Pearson admits the club's £35m debt is the priority, leaving current manager Iain Dowie in limbo.
He said: "We've got to make sure we are safe from administration first. We have a massive two weeks."
