Hull City remain interested in Arsenal fullback Carl Jenkinson.
The Hull Daily Mail says they have not tabled a £3m bid.
Reports today suggested Jenkinson had been targeted for a permanent move to the KC Stadium, but sources have suggested this is not the case and a loan move is the only way the Tigers could bring him in.
Even so, club officials are aware they face stern competition for the one-cap England international, who is believed to be keen to stay in the south.
