Hull City boss Steve Bruce is pushing to close a deal for Birmingham City defender Curtis Davies.
The Sun says Bruce could be willing to send centre-half Jack Hobbs to his old club Brum as part of any deal.
Birmingham's Player of the Year Davies, 28, has made it clear he wants to play in the Premier League again and looks set to leave St Andrew's.
