Hull City striker Dean Windass says the players are confident Phil Brown can't be tempted away from the KC stadium.

In his column for the Daily Mail, Windass wrote: "The gaffer has been linked with Sunderland this week, which goes to show what a good job he is doing at Hull. Nobody has talked about it - honestly - and I think we're all glad he has stated his intention to carry on at the KC.

"He is a fantastic coach who has established a never-say die spirit at the club, which is getting us through games like last week's late win over Middlesbrough."
