Hull City owner Assem Allam intends to appeal against the FA's ruling that he cannot change the club's name.
The Daily Mail says Allam will appeal against the FA's decision to block his proposed name change at Hull City and is ready to take them to court, if need be.
The Hull owner's running battle with fans looked to be over when the FA announced they had rejected his proposal for the club to be renamed Hull Tigers.
But he made it clear he is willing to fight on, by declaring: "If it had been the other way round, if the FA had approved it but the fans had said no, I would have severed my ties with the club immediately. But the results mean I owe it to the silent majority to appeal and to fight on.
"For now, what is important is what happens on the field. We want to finish as high as we possibly can in the league, and the FA Cup gives us the possibility of getting into Europe."
