Hull offer Pennant Premier League lifeline

Hull City boss Steve Bruce is offering a Premier League lifeline to Jermaine Pennant.

The Daily Star Sunday says Bruce wants to give Pennant the chance to kick-start his career at the KC Stadium, after he was released by Stoke.

Pennant, 30, who was on loan at Wolves last season, is due to have talks with new Potters boss Mark Hughes about the prospect of returning to his former club.
