Hull City No2 Steve Agnew says they're delighted for matchwinner Maynor Figueroa after victory over friendly opponents Peterborough United.
A flash of brilliance in only his second appearance showcased his quality ahead of the new term.
Agnew said: "He's a strong boy and he packs a punch when he's shooting. It's a fantastic goal, 30 yards out in the top corner.
"That's the quality he's got. He's an experienced player who knows his position and he could be a really valuable asset for us.
"He's had a groin problem at the back end of last season but he's getting there now."
