Hull City manager Phil Brown admits they need to improve the quality in their academy.

He told BBC Radio Humberside: "The business end is the first team and to bring players in from other football clubs at 17, 18, or 19 years of age is still going to cost a lot of money.

"The academy is going to be an important part of Hull City and hopefully we can get it up and running as soon as possible."
