Hull must get better on the road says Marco Silva

Hull City boss Marco Silva says that his side must improve their away form if they want to preserve their Premier League status for next season.

The Tigers, who currently occupy 18th spot in the table, haven't picked up a win on the road since defeating Swansea City on the opening day of the season.

"Of course, we do need to improve our performance away," said Silva ahead of the weekend's trip to Everton.

"In some (away) games we have improved. We've shown progress, but the results achieved are not the best.

"Only against Man United we had a very good result (0-0), but the others, no, and our last performance away against Leicester was not the best, that's clear.

"We need to improve this situation and we've worked this week in a bid to take points.

"Our form at home has been very good because we've achieved results and this gives confidence to our players.

"We've had good performances away, but not achieved the results. We need to change this as soon as possible, because of the 10 games we have left, five of them are away and we need to take points."
