Hull move for Man City striker Caicedo

Hull City are moving for Manchester City striker Felipe Caicedo.

The Mirror says Ecuador striker Caicedo, 21, has been on loan at Sporting Lisbon but the Portuguese club no longer require his services after a disappointing spell.

But Hull are keen to boost their firepower in January and Brown is keen to strike a loan deal as City want to loan him out to give him first team experience.

Caicedo moved to City in January 2008 for £5.2m from Basel and is regarded as a big prospect in Ecuador. Malaga and Real Zaragoza are also interested in signing him on loan.

Agent Nojan Bedroud said: "We will wait and see what happens in January because the loan deal in Portugal is until the summer. But things can change in football."
