Hull City are going for Manchester City midfielder Abdisalam Ibrahim.

The Daily Star says Bruce will move for the former Norway Under-21 international if he is priced out of a swoop for deposed Sunderland skipper Lee Cattermole.

The Somalian-born midfielder is enjoying an outstanding season on loan at Norwegian side Stromsgodset but said: "City gave me a free transfer and my advisors are speaking with clubs."
