Hull City boss Steve Bruce is chasing Manchester City goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon.

The Mail on Sunday says Steve Bruce's search for a keeper at Hull is set to end with a £4m swoop for Pantilimon, who is frustrated at being Joe Hart's No2.

Bruce had a bid for Leicester's Kasper Schmeichel rejected while Shay Given's £80,000-a-week wages at Aston Villa were deemed too much for newly-promoted Hull.
